So hard to take family photos these days! Note Ty Baby asleep in the carrier (he kinda blends in, LOL)!Winter finally blew in yesterday for the first time this year, and boy was it cold at our game last night! I think the wind was the worst part, but that didn’t stop the Steele Knights from playing a great ballgame and shutting out Austin’s Vandegrift Vipers 17-0. I had forgotten how awesome the cold is because it forces the kids to be still and snuggle (and fall asleep!). In fact, Rex was the only one who was able to stay awake the entire game! And he’s still enjoying being #knitrobaby! This Thanksgiving, we are thankful to still be in the playoffs. It’s looking like round 3 will be on Black Friday against Westlaco East in Corpus Christi at Buccaneer Stadium @ 6pm. Let’s go Knights!
You had mentioned Laredo next week, so I’m guessing they lost to Weslaco. When I looked up the score on some website late Friday night, they had the score as 7-3 at the half, not a shutout? And finally, the photo of Scott holding Landri in front of the crowd is cool, and it seems unusual because Scott is normally tied up with other responsibilities until the crowd disperses. Maybe the crowd hangs around longer after playoff victories on the road 🙂
Weslaco beat Del Rio. If DR had won, they had wanted to play in Laredo and Weslaco had agreed to Corpus. That’s crazy abt the score – it definitely was a shut out!
