Tonight I heard a news reporter accurately describe this evening’s game as a “clash of the titans,” with the number 1 and 2 teams facing off in the second round of the playoffs. I think I must have read a handful of articles the last few days touting this as the game of the week, and all of the media hype seemed to add even more pressure to an already tense couple days.  It was a huge, huge game for us, and I’m thrilled to report that the Steele Knights beat the undefeated San Antonio Brennan Bears 24-12!!!  The Knights played an outstanding game of football all around.  They were on fire tonight and amazing to watch.  Truly, some beautiful football [wow, that’s a sentence I’ve never said before, LOL].  Anyhow, we play next Friday at Buccaneer Stadium in Corpus Christi against Weslaco East at 6pm.  Happy Thanksgiving y’all and see you soon!
