I mentioned in my last post that I was starting my cleanse again (https://livinwiththelehnhoffs.com/2013/05/08/coming-clean-the-cleanse/). I ended up deciding to expand on it, making it 30 days (instead of 21), and not only just cleansing from an eating perspective (no alcohol, no caffeine, no animal products, no gluten, and no sugar), but also doing 30 days of at least 30 minutes of yoga everyday as well. Of course I am still running, but usually I miss yoga 1-2 days per week, so now I will enjoy its benefits daily no matter what! I officially began my challenge yesterday and since then have already made and enjoyed some delicious and healthy vegan meals and treats: Green Smoothies, home-made Breakfast Bars, a savory Black Bean Burger with a side of roasted broccoli, and a Shiitake Mushroom and Artichoke Heart Paella! Tonight will be a vegan Pad Thai with the leftover Shiitakes! I already feel better, even after only a day and a half, and cannot wait to get further along into this process. It is much needed. And good for Baby #2!
