I woke up this beautiful Sunday morning and went for a nice 8 mile jog…because I signed up for the San Antonio Half Marathon in Nov with a friend of mine.  I have no idea if I will be able to run some, part or none of it by then, but I figured I’d at least give it a shot.  When I told Scott my plan, he was like, “Of course you did.”  LOL!   I looked it up and my baby will be almost 14 inches by then, so I might end up being a walker.  We’ll see!   Anyhow, after my jog this morning, I headed to the grocery store for some kale for my green smoothies.  Upon arriving home, I was greeted with, “Do you want the good news or the bad news?”  Enter our next Daddy Daycare Alert.  I told Scott I’d rather hear the bad news first.  Well, little Landri got her first scorpion bite on her pointer finger (yes, it was inside our supposedly bug-proof Orkin house).  The good news was that she took it like a champ.  Scott apparently couldn’t figure out why she was screaming and holding her finger until he saw the scorpion floundering on the tile floor.  Nice.  Of course it happened while in the care of her father!!!  I also noticed a large pile of dirt from the potted plant she must have dug out.  Does he even watch her? 😉

So Scott continues to be in the news!  Below is a link to another news interview and then he also made the front page of the high school football preview section of the newspaper today with an article as well.  I can’t believe this Friday is the first game!
