Yesterday my neighbor and I participated in our annual Head for the Cure 5k that we do to honor my father, Al Prebula, who passed away from brain cancer in 2010. While I only got about 4 hours of sleep the night before due to a very late football game, it was still nice to carry on our tradition (here was my post from last year)! Also, it was Ty Baby’s first race ever! And come to think of it, this event was probably Rex’s first race too last year since he was just a baby then! All three kids came along and were pretty well behaved! I was very thankful for Chrissy who pushed Landri in her stroller so I didn’t have to handle all three myself! It was hot and despite the heavy strollers, we ran pretty well! Right around 27 minutes which I thought wasn’t too shabby!
Afterwards I took the kids to the farmers market where they enjoyed sweet potato empanadas and chocolate chip cookies. And after that, we took Rex for a haircut (he’d probably rather get a half dozen shots before he gets a haircut, that’s how much he HATES haircuts). Needless to say, after all of this, I really was glad to then hit up a much needed yoga class! And a few baby wipe baths (see pic of Rex below), tantrums by all, and one amazing Ty Baby blowout diaper later, we all finally made it home exhausted.
